It's finally here! Calenso has launched a new plugin on WordPress! You can now search for Calenso in the WordPress plugin store and install the plugin. Integrating the booking widget on your WordPress site has never been so easy - we promise!

This is how it works:

Step 1: Download and activate the plugin in the WordPress plugin store

  1. Log in to your WordPress site.
  2. Switch to the WordPress "Plugin" page and go to the "Install" subpage.
  3. Search for "Calenso Booking". (Direct link to the plugin)
  4. The Calenso WordPress plugin will now appear. Click on "Install".
  5. Switch to the "Installed plugins" section.
  6. Search for "Calenso Booking"
  7. Click on "Activate network". "Deactivate network" then appears under the name.

Step 2: Set up the plugin as a customer

Now the Calenso WordPress plugin appears in the left navigation bar, click on it. Since you already have an account, click on "Let's go! I already have a Calenso account. (If you don't have an account, please register first). And now start the very simple 3 steps that lead to the integration:

  1. First, the system checks whether you have a Calenso account. Enter your booking name. Click on "Check account". This may take a few seconds.
  2. Then select whether you want to set up the widget as an iFrame or web component. At the bottom, specify whether the widget should be displayed for appointment bookings or group bookings. There are advanced settings for both, such as location or service preselection or language selection.
  3. Then click on "Create shortcode".

Step 3: Display and integrate shortcodes

All created shortcodes can be found under "Shortcode" on the left side of the Calenso Booking plugin.

You can use the shortcodes (e.g. ) as text anywhere on your website. The WordPress plugin will automatically display the corresponding widget.
