Initial situation

Changeover to Calenso proves successful right from the start

Calenso has been in daily use at S-GE as a "core business process" since 2018. In the beginning, the appointment software was used in a simple setup and visitors to the S-GE website were redirected to an external booking page where they could make an appointment 24/7. Over the years, Calenso has become increasingly integrated into Switzerland Global Enterprise's business processes as an intelligent solution.

A cross-functional team at S-GE is now using Calenso and its functions in the best possible way. The booking widget is integrated into the website in its own design, customers can make an appointment in four languages, the data is automatically entered into the CRM and the confirmation email comes in the S-GE design. The consultants' calendars are also checked for availability in real time and the appointments are entered fully automatically.

The entire process, which was previously carried out manually, is now almost completely automated.

Interview with S-GE

Calenso conducted an interview with S-GE's cross-functional team to discuss the long-standing collaboration.

What were your requirements for an online appointment scheduling solution?

Before Calenso, our back office received the appointment data by email and then entered it manually in the consultant's calendar and in our CRM system. This sometimes led to appointment collisions because the manual entry of appointments was delayed. It was essential to automate the appointment booking process so that the appointments could be entered into the consultants' calendars in real time and appointment clashes could be avoided.

Calenso supports multilingualism, which is crucial for us as an international company with locations in all parts of Switzerland.

How well were the online appointments received by the consultants?

Everyone realized how much time and effort could be saved and the benefits for customers stood out clearly.

Where do you see the advantages of Calenso?

We have linked Calenso directly to our existing CRM system, i.e. when a consultant receives a new appointment booking, it is automatically entered into the calendar, a confirmation email is sent to the customer and all the necessary information is automatically entered into our CRM system. The evaluations in our reporting are also carried out automatically in this way. The entire advisory process, which used to be carried out manually, is now almost completely automated. This saves us a lot of time in the back office.

Appointment booking is available to our customers around the clock. Users are not tied to S-GE's opening hours, but can book an appointment 24/7.

Why do you value a 24/7 service?

Our target group is primarily SMEs. Smaller companies in particular are heavily involved in day-to-day business. There is a great need for them to be able to book appointments at any time and receive the necessary information without a great deal of effort. With Calenso, S-GE offers its customers great added value: with just a few clicks, companies can book a consultation appointment online with S-GE outside of business hours.

You have adapted Calenso individually to the design language of S-GE, why?

With the adapted design, we have created added value for our customers and further optimized usability and the seamless user journey. The appointment booking tool is now better integrated into our website.

From support to data protection: the all-in-one carefree package

Making appointments online is an important part of the business process for S-GE. We have a support agreement with Calenso and a personal contact person.

Where do you see the advantages of Calenso compared to competing products?

Calenso is very easy to implement. The possibility of integrating Calenso into an existing website in a user-friendly way and aligned with the website CI/CD is a further advantage. Calenso can be configured in many ways by the administrator.

You use detailed tracking and reporting in the online booking process. How does this work and where do you see the advantages?

We have developed tracking considerably over the last few years and use it for web analysis and other reports. This supports us in the further development of the tool and the optimization of the customer experience.
