Cisco Webex Meetings can now be connected as a meeting provider in Calenso. Calenso continues to expand its list of providers and now supports Zoom, Microsoft Teams, GoTo-Meeting, Google Meet and Unblu.
Cisco Webex is a range of products for video conferencing and collaboration. This cloud-based collaboration suite consists of software such as Webex Meetings, Webex Teams and Webex Devices. The Webex suite is a combination of Cisco's web conferencing platform Webex and the team collaboration app Cisco Spark.
You can connect your existing Webex account to Calenso. If you have connected several meeting providers, your customer will be asked at the end of the booking process which provider the meeting should take place via. If the customer selects a meeting via Webex Meetings, a new online meeting will be created and the customer and the booked employee will each receive the link to the meeting. As soon as the appointment takes place, both parties meet online in the meeting.
The following functions are possible with the new integration of CiscoWebex-Meeting:
- Calenso automatically creates an online meeting when the customer selects "Webex-Meeting" as the meeting provider
- The booked employee and the end customer are automatically added to the online meeting as participants
- If the customer cancels the appointment, Calenso automatically deletes the video conference
